Lunch With LifeSpring

LifeSpring isn’t just a worship service you sit in for an hour on Sunday morning! We want to be a group of people who know one another, and care for one another. That’s what “the church” is supposed to be: about loving God and loving people. We want to invite you to Lunch With LifeSpring this Sunday, November 13. Join us for lunch right there at the Southern Hospitality Conference Center right after the worship service. You stick around for the people, we’ll have the food and drinks! Service Opportunity This Saturday

Did you realize there are families right here in Statesboro who face the reality of not having enough food? But you can be the person who steps in to help meet that need. LifeSpring will be preparing and serving meals at the local soup kitchen this Saturday, November 12. We’ll meet at Statesboro First United Methodist Church from 10am to 1pm to be part of this simple service opportunity that really makes a difference. A couple weeks ago, over 500 meals were served! The 2011 Bishop’s Hour

The Statesboro District will host Bishop James King at Statesboro FUMC on Tuesday, October 11. There will be a fellowship time beginning at 6pm; feel free to bring finger foods to share. Tech Team Training

Volunteering at LifeSpring is a simple way to get involved and be a part of what God is doing through this church. On Monday, October 3 from 8:00 to 8:45pm at the Conference Center we’ll have a volunteer training for our Tech Team to learn to operate the lights, sound, and video that help make our Sunday worship experiences. Pizza With the Pastor

Want to get to know the pastor and learn more about LifeSpring Church? Interested in meeting a few other people in a casual, laid-back setting? Then you’ll want to stick around for Pizza With the Pastor on Sunday, October 9. Join us for lunch right there at the Southern Hospitality Conference Center right after the worship service. College Bowling Night

Hey, College Students! Want to go bowling?!? We’ll meet-up at the Conference Center at 7:00p Monday night, October 3 and carpool over to the Clubhouse at Hackers. Luau Baptism

Baptism Service: Sunday, August 28 at 5pm Luau cookout to follow! We’ve got the meat and drinks. You bring a side dish or dessert to share. It will be a time to celebrate God’s grace, some great food, and some fun times together as LifeSpring, the newest Methodist church in Bulloch County, meets at and celebrates with Union UMC, the oldest Methodist church in Bulloch County. Alex Trebek reads an answer off the big blue board and contestants have to buzz in and ask the right question to win a certain dollar amount. We’re not asking questions for dollar amounts on a game show. We’re looking for the priceless answers for life. And we know those answers are found in God. Join us for a new message series called “Basics: Asking the Right Questions.” In this series we will be exploring the “right questions” to the “answers” of the basic building blocks of our faith as followers of Jesus Christ.
