LifeSpring operates on the fundamental beliefs (Jesus = God’s Son), but defer on others (White shoes after Labor Day? Eh… whatever.). We look for new, exciting and even unusual ways to connect folks to God, as long as all efforts hold fast to what we consider essential and traditional Christian beliefs.

The Bible
You’ve probably heard about it. The cool thing is that the stories from over two thousand years ago are as relevant now as they were then! We believe it was written by humans under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, i.e. God.

Trinity – God times 3
God has been around forever. Will be around forever. And we believe He exists as one but in three forms – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The Father – God is great, God is good.
Can’t say it much better than that! God is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, holy. We live because of Him. We exist because of Him. He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.

The Son – God is the man!
We are Christ Followers because we follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. We believe He is the Son of God. He came to us and died for us so that we may be forgiven for our sins. The giving of his life for us gives us life everlasting. And we believe He will come again!

The Holy Spirit – You are never alone!
God enters the life of every believer at the point when we began to follow Christ. It is this presence that we refer to as the Holy Spirit. We believe that we are guided by this truth. The Holy Spirit comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, guides us, and makes us more like Christ.

Eternity – The Never Ending Story
We were created to last forever. And we will live forever with God or away from Him. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally with Him is heaven.

Man – Want to see God? Look in the mirror.
We believe that Man is made in the image of God and is the supreme object of God’s creation. We were created to have a relationship with God, but our sin separates us from Him. It is through Jesus that we reconnect to God. All of us were created individually, possess dignity, and are worthy of respect and Christian love.

Salvation – Your ticket to Paradise
We believe to be ultimately united with God, you gotta go through Jesus. He is the way. Salvation occurs when you place your faith in God through the love of His son – Jesus. Pretty simple. Yet rather profound. We believe that salvation is a gift from God and it cannot be earned through our own efforts, but only through faith in Jesus.

The Church – Oh, it’s not a building.
We believe that our church isn’t made from brick and mortar. We are a body of like-minded believers. We are passionate about living full lives that are centered on Jesus. Life is about loving, serving, and glorifying God by expanding God’s Kingdom, and we do that as community. Let’s do life together.
